The aim of this course is to: convey regional aspect of tourism as a part of whole branch of tourism; provide basic knowledge of attractiveness and conditions of tourism in the Czech Republic, Europe and in the world; convey methods of selected region analysis from the point of view of tourism geography; describe the attractiveness of tourism regions and give practical examples; describe tourism zoning of the Czech Republic; characterize and on examples demonstrate the importance of tourism for regions; identify and explain streams of tourism in the Czech Republic and in the world; practically show the key aspects of tourism geography during a field trip.
