To provide an overview of the territorial aspect of tourism as an important characteristic and specific feature of this sector. To provide a basic orientation on the attractiveness and prerequisites of tourism in the Czech Republic, Europe and the world in the context of sustainable development. To provide methods for the analysis of a selected destination in terms of the geography of tourism. To describe tourism zoning of tourism in the Czech Republic. To identify types of sustainable tourism and possibilities of interpretation of the territory in contrast to mass tourism. Identify the types of tourism attractions and the possibilities of their use in domestic and international tourism. To identify tourism streams at national, international and global levels in the context of their positive and negative environmental impacts. To analyse the territorial aspects of the economic, social and environmental impacts of tourism on sustainable development. To introduce the aspects of sustainable and responsible tourism through project-based learning and study tours using examples of domestic and international tourism destinations in cooperation with practitioners.
