1. Strategic steps to take

1. recognise the contents of the phrase that contains a missing word - which parts of speech are ALREADY included? (e.g. nouns, verbs, adjectives, adverbs, prepositions, conjunctions)


2. identify the missing word - what part of speech should it be?


3. change the word given by adding corresponding prefixes and suffixes


4. read the whole sentence once again, make sure it makes sense and the word does not need to be changed into its opposite negative form.
