Course annotation

The course is dedicated to cars with electric or hybrid drive. The main part of the course consists of traction drives (electric motors and power converters) powered by batteries and their specifics in the field of road vehicles, traction batteries, charging, consumption and range of electric vehicles, mathematical modeling. Attention is also paid to promising directions, such as multiphase systems or wireless charging. In addition to the traction drive itself, attention is paid to other aspects of electromobility, an integral part is a comparison with traditional cars with internal combustion engines.

Necessary equipment of the course participant

Basic knowledge of electric drives and electronics.
