Find p. 10 in your book (Bonamy, D. (2011). Technical English Level 3 Coursebook. Pearson Longman) and look at the pictures in Task 1. Answer at least two of the following questions and respond to at least one contribution of a fellow student.
1) What are plastics used for?
2) Do we make the items depicted in pictures A, B, C and D from plastic now?
3) How probable is that we will use plastic to make the items in the future?
4) What is the future of plastics? Do you think they will be used in the future? Why or why not?
5) Most plastics are made of crude oil. What will happen after crude oil deposits are depleted?
