Conclusion and Real-Life-Task
Cultures are no hardlined units - they can be expanded, bent, combined, and reimagined. Of course, when creating events like Harry and Priya did, it is important to respect everyone's traditions and not boycott someone else's holidays or routines. But if you stick to the idea of communicating respectfully, you can always learn new ways to celebrate and spend time with other people, no matter what they bring into your relationship.
Real-Life-Task: If you happen to take part in a cultural event, think of ways you could combine some of those traditions with your own. Maybe you can gather some friends for a new intercultural tradition, or you can simply share your values and beliefs about certain holidays. While you may not necessarily share their beliefs, you might be able to "visit" each other's celebrations. Of course, you can invite people to your culture's events, too.
