SOCIAL STATUS

In every small social group one occupies a certain position. 

Social position (status): rights and obligations that the group gave individuals.

Classification of social positions

According to personal attractiveness:

• Popular people - everyone in the group is preferring them
• Favorite people - most people in the group prefer them
• Accepted persons - some people prefer them, some not
• Tolerated persons - small part of the group members prefer them
• Rejected persons - they are not attractive to anyone

According to the degree of personal power:

The dominant persons
Active people
Dependents
Persons on the periphery
