Learning Pathway
The Moodle course is organised into three main sections:
Introduction, Learning Modules, and Conclusion.
The course is fully asynchronous and self-paced, with an estimated total workload of approximately 4 hours.
You are encouraged to complete the course sequentially. After reviewing the introductory materials, including the welcome message, course description, syllabus, and learning outcomes, you will progress through five learning modules.
Each module includes a combination of:
-
short learning inputs presented through text, video, images, or infographics,
-
practical or reflective activities,
-
applied community engagement scenarios,
-
self-assessment activities,
-
automatically graded knowledge checks or quizzes,
-
model responses and self-assessment criteria where appropriate.
The activities are designed so that you can complete the course independently without direct instructor feedback. Automated feedback, model examples, and self-assessment criteria will help you review your responses and monitor your own learning progress.
All core learning activities are compulsory and should be completed in the recommended order, as each module builds on the previous one. Additional materials are clearly labelled as optional and are provided for participants who wish to explore selected topics in greater depth.
Your progress will be recorded through Moodle completion tracking. After completing all required activities and meeting the course completion criteria, you will gain access to the final course section and be able to download your course completion certificate.
The concluding section provides an opportunity to reflect on your learning, review your progress, and identify how the competences developed in the course can be applied in future academic, professional, and community engagement contexts.
