This week and the upcoming week we will be looking at three different ideas. They are all interrelated and form a base for what we teach in English classes.

English nowadays

Watch: English as an international language: implications for classroom teaching - Penny Ur

Task 1: Write 250-300 word response paper – respond to the ideas presented in the materials. Say what you liked, agreed or disagreed with etc. 

Task 2: Write 3-5 questions you have about the issues presented and English language teaching.
